Full-time and Part-time Faculty Across Multiple Disciplines
Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata, a joyfully Catholic, classical co-educational school in Framingham serving grades 9-12, seeks faithful and talented educators who have a passion for Catholic classical education to serve as full- and part-time faculty members of our school. Although all positions are currently filled, if you are interested in teaching at Chesterton Academy, please send us your resume so that we may contact you when there are open positions. As a growing school, positions may open out of the normal contract cycle.
We are currently accepting resumes for teaching positions across multiple disciplines, including:
● Mathematics
● Science
● Humanities (Theology, History, Literature, Latin, Philosophy)
● Fine Arts, Music, and Drama
● Physical Education
Qualifications
● A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related disciplinary field is required.
● Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.
● Candidate must be a practicing Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
● Candidates must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
● Candidates should have experience contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
Responsibilities
● Participate in the House System, which is designed to promote character and virtue and to help students grow in holiness
● Attend daily Mass with the student body
● Assist in leading spiritual retreats and other school activities
Salary and Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefit packages are offered to all Full-Time employees.
