"A dead thing can go with the stream, but only a living thing can go against it," wrote Gilbert Keith (G.K.) Chesterton nearly 100 years ago. This timeless quote has aptly become the motto of those pioneering a resurgence of Catholic, classical education across the country. Fully alive in Christ, the founders, supporters, and families of Chesterton Schools have been able to "swim" against the current culture and open the doors of over 60 schools.

Through the intercession of our Patroness and the generosity and support of our donors, Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata reached our Phase Two fundraising benchmark of $130,000!

Chesterton Academy  of the Immaculata has been approved as a new  Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Boston.

 On the Feast of the Transfiguration, Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Séan O’Malley, signed a canonical  decree approving Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata as an independent Catholic high school in the  Archdiocese of Boston. The co-ed classical high school is scheduled to open in the MetroWest Boston  area in the fall of 2025 and is accepting applications beginning this October.

This October, Lynn Somers will be running the Cape Cod marathon for Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata. All of the donations she garners for her run will be donated to the founding of our school. The social agenda of today’s world has created a current so strong that our youth are struggling to stay afloat, let alone to stay on the path that God has created for them.
